At My Casita Home Plans, we make it easy to get high-quality, ready-to-build architectural plans created specifically for small lot sizes in the City of Houston. Our plans are designed to be code-compliant and permit-ready.
1. Browse & Purchase a Plan
Explore our collection of professionally designed house plans. Each one is tailored to meet the zoning and building requirements of Houston and optimized for smaller city lots.
2. What You’ll Receive
After purchasing, you’ll receive a digital set of architectural plans including:
- Floor plans
- Site Plan (If a survey is provided)
- Exterior elevations
- Roof plan
- Basic code notes and dimensions
These plans are ideal for city submittal and construction preparation.
3. Structural Design (Sold Separately)
We don’t include structural design upfront because requirements can vary depending on your specific lot — especially in areas that may fall within flood zones or have unique soil conditions.
If structural plans are needed, we offer them as an add-on service after your purchase. This ensures the structure is customized to your exact site conditions.
4. Permit Services (Optional Add-On)
Need help navigating the permitting process with the City of Houston? We offer full permit service assistance for $700, which includes preparation and submission of the following:
- Building Permit Application
- WCR Application (to generate the WCR Letter)
- Grade and Fill Form
- Impervious Cover Form
- REScheck (Energy Compliance Report)
Note: City of Houston fees are not included. The client is responsible for paying all city-related fees separately.
5. Start Building
Once you have your architectural plans, structural documents (if needed), and permits, you’re ready to break ground and start building your new home in Houston.
